                          NTEA Member Verification Program Status

Kerby, OR — Rogue Truck Body, LLC is pleased to announce that it is among the 363 companies to-date to achieve National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) Member Verification Program (MVP) status. MVP participants distinguish themselves by embracing the knowledge that is necessary to provide a high level of quality while meeting certain regulatory requirements.
“Our goal here at Rogue Truck Body has always been to manufacture top-quality products for our customers. We want our products to last, so we build them that way. It’s not uncommon to see a unit we built 15 or 20 years ago still going strong, said Keith Hill, owner and CEO of Rogue Truck Body.
“We’re thankful that God has blessed our business the way he has. And, we’re pleased to become a member of an assocation that recognizes and promotes us for the quality, principles and ethics on which this business was built.”
According to former NTEA President Tom Rawson, CEO of RKI Inc. (Houston, TX), “The NTEA MVP is attempting to raise the overall level of professionalism within the throughout the truck body and equipment industry value chain.”
The Program identifies business practices common to successful companies and promotes increased professionalism by helping commercial truck and transportation equipment industry firms build more profitable, mutually beneficial and longer-lasting relationships with their suppliers, distributors and customers.
Initially MVP participants have been asked to verify to the Association that they meet four out of five business processes and certain government criteria. Over time, the NTEA will increase program requirements to encourage even higher standards through set criteria that must be met by Distributor and Manufacturer members in order to continue to qualify for MVP status. Members must re-qualify every three years.
A total of 363 members achieved MVP status as of April 1, 2008. The program was first introduced to NTEA members in May 2005.
“This MVP designation from NTEA shows our customers that we strive for excellence and will continue to provide them with the best possible product and service,” Hill concluded.
